Clinical Nutrition Advice
Clinical Nutrition Advice
Nutrition is not an isolated treatment and consequently will not cure a condition. On the other hand, an appropriate diet does work to support the veterinarian's treatment. Consider, for example, EGUS, or better known as peptic ulcer.
Proper feed management also works symptom-fighting as in the case of allergies or intolerances or preventively, as in the case of horses prone to colic, for example.
Depending on the information already available, the condition and if your veterinarian is open to it, we prefer to work together with the treating veterinarian for optimal results.
Clinical nutritional advice is valuable in cases of EGUS, EGGD and ESGD, colic, laminitis (laminitis) Insulin resistance, PPID (cushing's), EMS, HYPP, PSSM 1 and 2, MFM, EPM, myopathy, allergies and intolerances, grass sickmness, liver and kidney disease and so on.
